The Higher Audiovisual Council refers to “imbalances” in the equal speaking time for candidates to regional, during the first two weeks of the campaign, in a statement Wednesday.
The audiovisual gendarme “noted imbalances in the expression of candidates, which vary from operators and regions” between October 26 and November 13, and announced that it warned the media concerned with it does not give the names.
The CSA ensures acknowledge “that these imbalances can not be resolved immediately” given “the de facto suspension of the campaign of treatment for regional” following attacks of 13 November.
The CSA also invites audiovisual media “not to favor the exposure of candidates in regional elections called to express themselves on the national and international news.” List of regional heads have spoken several times on antennas to comment on the attacks.
