The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 + EDGE pass before the FCC … – Frandroid

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC or for the official acronym) has certified four terminals, two of which should correspond to variants of the Galaxy Note 5, and two variants of the Galaxy S6 EDGE + . What to bring some extra water to the mill of rumors and tend to confirm an early exit.

In reviewing the records released by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), he n is not uncommon to come across information related to devices that have not yet been officially announced. Thus some curious discovered files relating to N920A and N920V, attributed to Galaxy Note 5 US carriers AT & T and Verizon, as well G928V and G928A, assumed variants of Galaxy S6 + EDGE with the same operators . More than just assumptions, these statements are based on Samsung’s habits regarding references of its products. Indeed, the Galaxy Note N910 mention the 4 door, while the Galaxy S6 Edge is itself referenced under the sweet name of G925.

These questions files provide no new information on the two smartphones but their existence as early in the year suggests that the rumors about an earlier than usual output might be. Indeed, this certification mandatory for release on American soil, is often one of the last steps before the formalization of a terminal. By comparison, the files on the Galaxy Note 4 have been published by the FCC as early September, just days after his presentation at IFA. This is however a rather rare case, since it is much more common to see this kind of “leakage” within days or weeks before the formalization event. However, nothing is guaranteed as long as no invitation has been sent by Samsung.

As a reminder, the two smartphones are expected with an octa-core Exynos 7420 processor (or 7422) 4GB of RAM and a Super AMOLED screen of about 5.7 inches WQHD definition (1440 x 2560 pixels). As indicated by their names, they should be differentiated by the presence of a stylus on one, and a curved screen on the sides to the other. In one case as in the other, the design should be relatively close to that of Galaxy S6, including a glazed back. 3D renderings have also helped to get a good idea of the potential final appearance of the Galaxy Note 5.
