The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 starts receiving Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Already available in Poland, the update should not take long to win the rest of Europe, including France.
KitKat was launched with the Nexus 5 last October, it was not until early this year that most manufacturers should make use terminal of their choice. Side Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will logically be among the first. Moreover, the update is already beginning to be deployed. SamMobile reports that Polish users were able to update the phablette. The model in question is number SM-N9005. It is therefore its 4G variant, Snapdragon 800, it found also in France.

If the update has so far been seen in Poland, it would quickly spread to neighboring countries. In hex, it has already been confirmed by SFR and should be offered to owners of Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 branded at the end of the month or early February. Less patients may also download the new firmware to the firmware SamMobile page and install it manually.
