  By the January 17, 2014 Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 now have their update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat . A very good news for the owners of these two popular smartphones. This is an opportunity to make a point about the innovations introduced by this update. As you will see, it is full of small items.

Do not expect a revolution in graphics, TouchWiz changes only very little with this Android 4.4.2 update for day 3 and S4 Note . News affecting both phones are quite subtle. Change smoothly with several features and additions that justify this update. Some changes are the Samsung’s TouchWiz interface, while others are directly related to the new Android KitKat:

  • A new icon for the camera on the lock screen. Always drag it to launch the application.

  • SMS and MMS with Hangouts are now managed by default. If you want to change this, go to “Settings> Default applications” .
