Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2: directly updated Android ... - LesMobiles.com

Samsung is considering updating its Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 directly on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, bypassing the Android 4.2.2 box. But that would cause the delay in the deployment of this update.

This is a funny rumor that has emerged from the side of the site Temefy.com . It says take an employee of the R & D in India as Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2 may never see the update to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean was approached for the coming weeks. However, this does not mean that the Korean automaker would abandon its two flagship smartphones of 2012. In fact, according to the same source, it would consider outright pass these two models directly on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Although it has not yet been formalized, the existence of this version of Google’s operating system is little doubt. The S4 Galaxy Nexus Experience should even be one of the first smartphones to receive. So, Samsung has decided to take advantage of the delay by its teams for the update 4.2.2 of Jelly Bean Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 to assess the possibility of directly carrying Android 4.3.

Note that even the internal source at Samsung India affirm that this is only a possibility considered by the manufacturer. We have already seen several leaks firmware that seemed almost complete the update 4.2.2 update for the S3 and Note 2. However, providing such a firmware users also involves agreeing with operators and manage the entire deployment phase. Samsung may also want to save two major operations on dates as close to the pooling. However, such a decision would have an impact on the availability date of the update in question, which would be delayed until November or December.
