Brazil is the final - and Debrief NOTES players (Brazil 2-1 Uruguay)

Fred opened the scoring for Brazil in the first half.

Brazil holds its finale. But the men of Luiz Felipe Scolari have struggled to afford the right to face Spain and Italy to win a new Confederations Cup. Beaten 2-1, Uruguay can feed some regrets after the semi-final hanging.

Forlan can blame

La Celeste, well into this part, had the opportunity to open the scoring just before the quarter of an hour, for a foul on David Luiz Lugano. But Forlan saw his penalty being pushed by Julio Cesar, left the right side. If they had the ball, the Brazilians were having great difficulty creating chances in the first period, mainly due to a constant pressing of Uruguayans.

The players NOTES:

Maxifoot awarded a rating (out of 10) commented to each player.

Man of the Match: Edinson Cavani (7/10)

In addition to equalize early in the second period, the attacker Naples was everywhere tonight, before, middle and even behind to tackle in its surface. What defensive work

BRAZIL:

Julio Cesar (6): beaten by Cavani, the Brazilian goalkeeper had previously rejected the penalty Forlan

.

Daniel Alves (5): discreet enough in the right lane, the Barcelona did not appear as sharp offensively as usual

.

Thiago Silva (4.5): a pretty clean game overall. Unfortunately for him, he misses his recovery brings Cavani equalized early in the second period.

David Luiz (4.5): in the image of Thiago Silva, the Chelsea defender has appeared in pain tonight. Unlike his habits, he was particularly satisfied to defend, not bringing the surplus in midfield. Better in the second half.

Marcelo (5): as Daniel Alves, the Spaniard remained fairly quiet offensively tonight. A lackluster performance on arrival, even though he tried to press the accelerator late in the game.

Paulinho (6.5): to the original purpose of Fred, he did appreciate the quality of passes in midfield. It was he who, in the head, has the qualification to the Selecao late in the game.

Luiz Gustavo (5): nervous, he showed his irritation against the big Uruguayan pressing. Better in the second period.

Oscar (3): the big disappointment of this game. We did not see nearly the meeting. Replaced in the 73rd minute by Hernanes (not rated).

Hulk (5): striker Zenit tried the ball, but never managed to make a difference. Replaced in the 64th minute by Bernard (not rated) powerful.

Fred (5.5): the former Lyon hit some balls, but he did not miss the target on his only opportunity

.

Neymar (6.5): well taken by the Uruguayan defense, he struggled to speak tonight. But it is on one of its acceleration Fred scores. And it is he who drops the ball over the head of Paulinho late in the game. Decisive again. Replaced in the 92nd minute by Dante (not rated).

URUGUAY:

Fernando Muslera (5): unhappy about the purpose of Fred, where he had previously won his duel against Neymar, he remained focused then. But it is too short on the winning goal Paulinho.

Maximiliano Pereira (6): applied in the right lane, he did not give up

.

Diego Godin (6.5): very strong in the tackle and often well placed. A very good game.

Diego Lugano (5.5): strong overall, even though lack of speed on the order of Fred by being deposited by a few meters Neymar .

Martin Caceres (5.5): image Pereira on the right, Turin has blocked the left lane. But he was defeated in a duel by Paulinho late in the game.

Alvaro Gonzalez (5): Uruguayan not the most prominent, but it has made efforts in midfield. Replaced in the 83rd minute by Walter Gargano (not rated).

Egidio Arevalo (6.5): a real pitbull. He never stopped harassing the Brazilian midfield when they had possession of the ball.

Cristian Rodriguez (5): very dangerous offensively but worker, too, in midfield

.

Diego Forlan (5): the former Inter Milan player saw his penalty being pushed by Julio Cesar early in the game, but his kicks orders allowed Uruguayans show dangerous.

Luis Suarez (5.5): Liverpool striker had very few good balls to put in the tooth but he worked hard to obstruct the opposing stimulus .

Edinson Cavani (7): read the comment above
